Product Details
Designed to be used as a traditional foaming soap, it is applied to wetted
hands and forearms to scrub the hands, and rinsed away under running water. It
is an excellent cleanser, removing grit and grim that naturally accumulates on
the skin.
The unique formulation of this skin cleanser makes it very different from
traditional soaps. Most soaps contain negatively-charged or “anionic”
detergents. PureWorks’ Antibacterial Soap contains positively-charged quaternary
ammonium compounds. Because of this fact, this soap can be called an “invert
soap.” It is so different from most traditional soaps, that a person can often
feel the difference as soon as they use it the first time. The soft, smooth
feeling of the foam feels luxurious as it spreads across the skin. A rich,
abundant, lathering foam facilitates the washing process and rinses away easily.
The extra antibacterial activity is an added benefit to this “invert” soap. It
effectively kills and removes bacteria from the skin. As is the case for all
antibacterial soaps, the US Food and Drug Administration classifies them as
“over-the-counter” drug products. PureWorks’ Antibacterial Soap also complies
with current FDA regulations.
Most importantly, the PureWorks’ Antibacterial Soap is designed to work with the
PureWorks’ Antiseptic Foam, Spray, and Lotion. Traditional soaps often
inactivate antiseptics and hand sanitizers. PureWorks’ Antibacterial Soap has
been formulated to work in concert with all the products in PureWorks’ skin care
line. This means that the Soap does not interfere with the activities of the
Foam, Spray and Lotion. Conversely, none of these antiseptic products inhibit
the action of the soap. This unique attribute helps guarantee a successful and
effective skin-care regimen when using all of these products as indicated.
