PureWorks Hard Surface Disinfectant - Key Attributes
PureWorks’ One-Step Disinfectant is for cleaning, disinfecting, and
deodorizing in a single step.
- Kills household germs; effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa
[Pseudomonas], Staphylococcus aureus [Staph] and Streptococcus pyogenes
[Strep], Influenza A/Brazil [influenza] and Trichophyton mentagrophytes
[Athlete’s foot fungus].
- EPA registered as hard surface disinfectant.
- Alcohol free.
For use in (homes, hospitals, dental and medical offices, nursing homes, day
care centers, Vet Practice, farms, restaurants, business and office buildings,
hotels, airports and public restrooms) on washable hard non-porous surfaces of:
- countertops
- exterior surfaces of appliances
- bathroom fixtures
- door knobs
- floors
- showers

Product Details
This product is used to disinfect a variety of hard non porous inanimate
surfaces such as floors, walls, and counter tops in homes, hospitals, offices,
restaurants, hotels, day-care centers, buses, cars, etc.
PureWorks’ One-step Disinfectant is registered with the US Environmental
Protection Agency.
PureWorks’ One-step Disinfectant is a one-step disinfectant cleaner that is
effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, is virucidal* [including HIV-1,
the AIDS Virus and Hepatitis B Virus and Hepatitis C virus], fungicidal, and
inhibits the growth of mold and mildew, and their odors, when used as directed.
- Bactericidal against: E. coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas, Staphylococcus,
Campylobacter and Streptococcus and others as described on product labeling.
- Also virucidal against Herpes simplex types 1 & 2, HIV-1 (AIDS virus),
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), and Vaccinia (Pox virus).
- For use in veterinary Practice it is effective against animal viruses
including Avian Infectious Bronchitis, Canine Distemper Virus, Newcastle’s
Disease Virus, and Pseudorabies virus.
- For settings where live poultry are housed or handled, the product is
effective against Avian Influenza Virus and Avian Infectious Bronchitis.
- It kills Trichophyton mentagrophytes (the fungus that causes athletes
foot), and Aspergillus niger.
- It is also “mildew-static;” that is, it effectively controls the growth
of mold and mildew, thereby reducing their associated malodors.
PureWorks’ One-step Disinfectant is also an excellent light-duty cleaner,
providing one-step cleaning and disinfection. Food contact surfaces will require
a potable water rinse after application of product. This product is not for use
on silverware, glasses or any other type of eating utensils.
